Our Founder's Story
"As an immigrant from Jamaica who arrived in the U.S. at a young age, I understand the hard work and determination required to achieve one's goals. My journey began as a young girl in the countryside of Jamaica, where electricity, funds, and other resources were scarce, and walking three-plus miles to and from school was a daily routine. Things didn't get much easier when my family immigrated to the U.S. My mother became a single parent to 4 children, working a minimum-wage job. We struggled for many years. Despite the challenges, I persisted, working tirelessly throughout college and dedicating long hours to my career. Fast forward, and I am proud to be recognized as a distinguished operations leader, holding an MBA and leveraging my experiences to drive success. My journey has not only instilled in me a drive to strive for excellence, but also a strong desire to serve others by helping them reach their full potential.
